My Redeemer

Sitting here this morning, having my quiet time, I am humbled by the mightiness, the graciousness, the compassion, the loving, and the mercy of The Lord. The song “Redeemer” by Nicole C. Mullen comes to mind in just how BIG and IN CONTROL He is… The very fact that He literally holds the stars in place, puts breath into the bodies of men, created this whole universe and all that is in it… yet He knows my name and how many hairs are on my head…. well, like Psalm 8:4 it begs the question, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him?” We were made in His image, He loves us, He wants us to stay close to Him always. Once we learn that our faithful Lord is in control of every detail of our lives and that He LOVES us, well it just puts into perspective every worry we have. We must learn to trust Him in every aspect of our lives. We must learn to obey His commands. We must learn to love each other. Pray. Know that He hears us and He answers us in His infallible, loving and all knowing way. Lots of times, in fact, I would say more often than not, our prayers are answered in ways that we didn’t intend or expect, yet each answer is the perfect one. The answer of the All Mighty All Knowing Lord… who always knows what is best for each of us. I hope each one of you are blessed today in seeing ways that your prayers have been or are being answered that we might not have expected or realized. To God be the glory great things He hath done. So loved He the world that He gave us His Son. Call on The Lord Jesus today. He will never leave or forsake you.

Redeemer

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning
Who told the ocean you an only come this far?
Who showed the moon where to hide ’til evening
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

The very same God that spins things in orbit
He runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life wihtin me cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives

To take away my shame
And He lives forever I’ll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He’s alive
And there’s an empty grave.

And I know my Redeemer, He lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
